Welcome

In 2012 Rugby Union will be played in 120 countries worldwide. Over 209,000 young people under 17 will play the game in Australia. Of these players, over 8,000 will be playing in 28 clubs within the Brisbane Metropolitan Area and in the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union (BJRU) competition.  Based on last year’s player numbers, North Brisbane Junior Rugby Club (known as Norths Junior Eagles) will boast 400 of these players.
.
Welcome to our Norths Junior Eagles. While we are relatively small (being about the middle point of the total population of players in Brisbane), over the years we have developed a strong tradition particularly in partnership with our seniors the North Brisbane Rugby Union Club; a love of the game; teamwork and camaraderie; and pride in a sport with a strong following in Australia.
.
We hope you will join us on our Come Try Rugby day in early 2014 to develop an understanding and appreciation of “the game they play in heaven”. Along with club members and your Club’s 2013 Management Committee, I welcome you to Norths Junior Eagles.
